As the former editor-in-chief of a publishing company for over twenty years, I'm creating a series of mini-books designed to take you step-by-step through the publishing proces. Each book, at 5,000 words or less, will break down one process. Go behind the scenes of a small bress and learn what you need to know to decide whether you want to seek traditional publishiing or publish your books yourself.  The first book is all about the submissions process, and you can find it here.

Classes

Every six weeks I teach "Strengthening Your Fiction," a class designed to help improve your fiction writing. The class is through email only and includes assignments and feedback. You can register at Women on Writing.  

Marketing/Promoting

I have a Pinterest board devoted to helping authors promote. Now, with 447 pins and growing, it has booksigning tips, website checklists, book launch event ideas and checklist, book swag ideas, information on ads and budgets, and even templates for blog post titles. There is so much to discover, and I am always adding new ideas I come across in the Pinterest community.
